Regia Marokko Inka Passap Knee Socks

Loz's Socks are great. We made them last Thursday so she could take them to Canberra. Here they are in 8ply:


C/O 64

Cuff: N/N, T6, 1:1 50 rows. Reset RC000

Legs: CX/CX, T7.5, 50R, then dec 2 sts ev 16 rows to 48sts.

Heel: BX/GX, short wrap down to 8 sts and back. RC000

Feet: CX/CX, 100R

Tow: dec 1st all ends (4sts in all) at RC = 100, 106, 110, 114, 118 then ev 2nd round till 8sts.

Those are some seriously long knee high socks!

Do have any trouble with toe decreases dropping? I tend to make my socks on Brother machines rather than my Duo 80 because I can put the needles into hold to insure the decreases knit off without dropping.

I've heard you can use a second set of Passap end needle springs to make decreasing easier. I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

No trouble with toe decreases, I've got it down to a fine art with the yellow tool, picking up the 3rd st from the end, and holding on the prong, then putting it on top of the 2nd, picking up both 1st, 2nd (with 3rd on top of it) and moving them into new position. sounds harder that it is.. had a few casualites when I first started doing it, but all good now.
