Monkey pattern in Knitty.com has a 64 sts cast on. Unfortunately, that's never going to fit me, so here is my 80 sts version (please click on the picture to see it clearly):
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I am working on my 3rd AND 4th pair of socks simultaneously. I'm picking out the yarn for my 5th pair and I'm thinking Lorna's monkeys for them. The previous ones have been more simple to learn and understand how to make socks for my special feet and ankles...sounds nicer than referring to them as monstrously large! Tobey as Bobbins

No worries, I love mine!
I prefer to call mine "custom fit", rather than hideously large!
