I've finished it and here it is. Phyllo Yoke Sweater from the Knitting Nature book.
It worked out very well. The only odd thing was the chart instructions. Of course every second round is knitted, but nowhere did it actually say to do that. Plenty of blather about seashells. I think less seashells and more attention to correctly writing out the instructions would be better all round. Never mind, here is a closer look as the yoke:
I like how the KX350, with the wobbly tension mast, makes the stocking stitch sections a little bit uneven, just enough to add a nice look to it. Very pleased. I'm sure when the weather cools down it will be my fav jumper.

It's so beautiful Lorna :)
I get frustrated sometimes too with pattern instructions....I like to count to 10 and try again and if I still don't get it, I go to Mum lol.
*hugs* Heather x
Thanks Heather, I didn't have a problem, it's the norm. (I've been knitting for 50+++ years) But when I was reading the instruction it was missing. I think a beginner would think this an excellent pattern to try - and there's all this rubbish about shells instead!! What's with that? I'm glad I borrowed the book from the library and didn't pay for it!! I'd have been really annoyed!
You didi a fantastic job on your sweater. I'm sure I wouldn't have had the patience that you did.
Thank you! It didn't take very long, and the boring bits were all done over a couple of days, too easy.
That's a beautiful sweater!

Actually, the pattern does include a note to the left of the chart noting that only patterned rounds are shown to to knit all other rounds.
Thanks for that, it's a library book and I've taken it back, and I couldn't find it and I looked!
Oh I love your jumper, its such a lovely colour and style.
ps. i hope you dont mind if i add your blog to my blog list.
No, no worries, It's mostly filled with machine/hand knitting.
